The absolute most authentic Puerto Rican food here in the Tampa area!! I've been searching for weeks now for authentic delicious Boricua food and am finally glad I found this gem!! The alcapurrias are perfect, abs their mofongo is amazing! We had piña colada's, sangrias, and a medalla bucket. The ambience is beautiful and reminds me of old San Juan with the vibes and music! I am definitely returning!!

I had the cooked mixed conch, octopus, and shrimp. This meal comes with tostones, half a tomato slice, a flavorful garlic sauce to drizzle or dip , and lettuce. It was my first time trying conch and I think it's good, however, just don't understand the hype behind it. Im not a seafood person, but I was feeling spontaneous. The restaurant is clean and the people were cool. I even dropped my credit card here and the owners found it. The next time I'll be out here for that churrasco steak! See you soon

We were in the area and my brother suggested we try this place because he said they have very good frituras (Puerto Rican appetizers). As far as I am concerned there is nothing better than a well made fritura. I am quick to order an alcapurria or empanadilla, they have both and they are very good. My review can stop there and I would be fine but I also had an order of carne frita with tostones (fried pork chunks with plantains). This meal was excellent. The pork was fried perfectly, not dry at all. The tostones were perfect, bottoming they know how to cook Puerto Rican dishes. My brother had a passion fruit (parcha) frappé it was so freaking good. My mom ordered some white rice with beans, you can tell if someone can cook Puerto Rican food simply by tasting their beans and these people had some excellent beans; mom gave her stamp of approval, and for mom to say they are good, they really have to be good because mom's beans are out of this world. The one drawback I can see people have about this place is the fact that they only have outside dining. I get it, the outside dining is not all that but to be honest, it reminds me of the many places I have eaten at while visiting the island. The place may not necessarily look inviting but the food makes up for it. The beer is cold and the food is delicious, the only knock I would give them is that the service was a bit slow, but I will take slow and food rather than fast and mediocre. Give them a chance you won't be disappointed. By the way, I met the owner who seems to be a good guy, very friendly!

YOU HAVE TO TRY THEIR MOFONGO! I have been to many many many mofongo joints in PR, NewYork, Los Angeles, FL and this place GETS DOWN
